Want to Teach a Workshop at Stuff Redux this Summer?
Stuff Redux is now accepting one-day workshop proposals for July – September. We are seeking experienced teachers with a passion for art and creative reuse. Our store is full of wonderful and inspirational items – we are looking for workshop proposals that will use these materials to teach sustainable art projects. Do you have amazing creative reuse project ideas for adults, youth, or families? Come teach them this summer!
HOW IT WILL WORK:
We are looking to host one day workshops that are 1-4 hours in length. Workshops can be held any day of the week during daylight hours. We are looking for adult, youth, and family oriented programs. The workshop must utilize at least 70% reclaimed materials. Stuff Redux will provide all materials (you will be free to use any of reclaimed materials in our store and we will purchase any necessary tools or extra materials).
Stuff Redux will promote and facilitate class registration. Workshops will run for $10 – $30 per person. Proceeds from the workshops will be split at a rate of 60% for the instructor and 40% for Stuff Redux.
OUR FACILITY:
Workshops will be held at Stuff Redux. We have a 600 sq. ft. space that can be used as your classroom. We can provide tables and chairs for up to 12 people inside. There is no sink in the room, however there is access to water via a separate bathroom and a near by outdoor hose. You may also use our ample outdoor space for your workshop. Come visit, 1605 Rhoadmiller St. Fri & Sat 11-5PM, to see the space and get inspired by our materials!

(A store volunteer will attend 1-2 training sessions prior to their start date)
- Accept, weight, sort, stock, and record all donations (Record donor information, weigh materials, and enter info into appropriate spread sheets).
- Answer customer questions and facilitate sales. The volunteer will be familiar with our pricing guide and POS operations. The volunteer will keep all records of sales.
- Organize and Beautify: Make signage! Or make signage more beautiful. Make sure items are well displayed.
- Make Craft Kits: TBD
Donations Maven:
- Help Stuff Redux get the word out and gather supplies.
Option 1:
We will provide boxes and information for you to give to neighbors or local businesses. You will be in charge of dropping off and picking up the donation boxes. Your efforts will help to grow our store and strengthen our offerings.
Option 2:
Help us pick up already scheduled material donations. We will love you for it!
The Reacher Outer:
Love talking to people and coming up with fun reuse craft ideas? Be a Stuff Redux ambassador. We always need people to help plan and run our outreach make n’ takes at local community events, such as First Friday. Let us know if this sounds right for you and we will set up with an event. Know an event we should be at? Let us know and we will find someone to come help spread the word.
